Spaghetti bolognese was last nights dinner. I especially like this dish because the prep work is very easy and once you've got that done you just throw it in a pot and let it go for an hour or so. Great for busy parents chasing little ones.
Last year when we were still living in New York we went to Babbo for my birthday and this is the dish I had. It was wonderful.

The secret to a marvelous dish of Bolognese Pasta is to add shredded carrots! Believe it or not, but the Italians do it to their dishes. Shred the carrots and mix it along with the tomato sauce onto the ground beef (after it has been cooked.) Yum!
