fresh raspberry pie

Okay.........okay..............I'll admit it. I'm totally obssessed with baking pies. It seems like I've been dying to bake one at least every week lately. I keep telling my husband I really think it's because I'm pregnant. I think it's my nesting instincts working on over drive. My husband's worried that whatever it is, it's going to go away after I have the baby.
Well, it's Sunday and my husband plays a church gig every Sunday morning for three hours and since we're a one car family little Milton and I decided to walk to the grocery for fresh berries and bake a raspberry pie. I must say it is one of my favorites so far. I ALWAYS use this pie crust recipe. It take 5 minuets and it is soooooo flaky. And I used this raspberry pie recipe.

Oh, and please do yourself a favor and enter to win some GORGOEUS handmade baby shoes.

That looks absolutely delish! Since I'm not a big fan of raspberries, though, I think I will try to imitate The Village Inn's strawberry and rhubarb! Yummy!

Love the star on top. Fesh raspberries are so incredible..even more so when you can pick them right in your yard (we've got a great patch that produces some huge amounts). We even had to start a strawberry patch this year. This way, we know how pesticide free they really are. Great blog, by the by!!Following you right back!!
