saturday's farmer's market

Little M and I ventured out to the market very early this morning............before sunrise even. I absolutely L*O*V*E the fall. There was a nice nip in the air. I was snuggled up in my new hand knit sweater my hubby bought for me and little M cozied up in a fleece and blankie.
I bought some beautiful baby squash that I'm planning to serve browned with mashed potatoes and chicken. I also got the last of the blackberries for the season and I'll bake up a beautiful pie of course. Happy Saturday everyone.

Oh, and if you'd like please enter my W*O*N*D*E*R*F*U*L giveaways. I only host beautiful handmade things here. You will love what you find. I promise :)

Happy Saturday to you too, Hanna! Beautiful photography....everything looks so wonderful! We have a lovely farmer's market here in Raleigh, and my husband is usually the one who gets up early and ventures out for the goodies! (I like to sleep in....I have to admit.) LOVE blackberries ~ I'm sure your pie will be so delicious. Have a great weekend! ~ Karen

Beautiful blog. Great photos of such lovely produce. We have a fabulous farmer's market in San Francisco on Saturdays. That's where I should be right now!

Thanks for visiting my page and following! I am returning the favor :)

This post makes me think of the experience we had just yesterday. Went to two different huge farmer's markets and they were both closed, bummer! One had closed down and the other was just closed for the day :(

Love your pictures!

Great photos! It looks like you have a wonderful farmer's market there. One thing I remember and miss SO much is fall in New Mexico. The cool air and smell of roasting chile. ~yum~

Thanks so much for sharing your world with us! I love your blog and look forward to getting to know you. Have a happy Sunday, Candace

Looks wonderful. We have a summer/fall farmer's market that sets up in the local park and I love it when peaches are in season - they have the sweetest, juiciest ones!

What beautiful pictures. Not only do they all look so yummy, they would make a perfect puzzle! I have;t been to a farmers market in years, until a week or so ago when I was traveling. I had a blast. These pictures bring me back! Thanks for sharing!

Following you back from "Great Stuff"! You have beautiful things! I'm so glad I have a new baby nephew and another niece or nephew on the way (since we are stopping with the 2 and 4 year old boys we have)! I'll be shopping with you VERY soon!
And your pics are gorgeous!! Sadly, our farmer's markets do not look like that either :o( (Or I'm not going to the right one!)

Just looking at those amazingly fresh vegetables make me feel energetic and wholesome! Do you buy in bulk or do you prefer to buy as much as you use in a week? If I lived near you, I'd go half and half with you on the fresh produce :)
