I was in the mood to whip up another pie and I am partial to fruit pies but I thought I should try something a little more festive so I went with Pumpkin cream cheese pie. And boy am I glad I did!!! It's DIVINE!!! I love that it's layered so it's almost like you get a pumpkin pie and a cheese cake in one and the pecan streusel topping is just to die for. I have lots of cookbooks and often use the internet for recipes too but this one came from my Better Holmes and Garden's Baking Book and now I can't find the exact recipe anywhere on the internet which is weird. Anyway, I compared lots of them and this recipe is almost identical.

YUM!!! We just don't eat pumpkin in dessert in Australia. Our pumpkin comes cooked with our roast lamb or roast beef. I do recall my wonderful Christmas/Thanksgiving adventures in the US though with all these wonderful pumpkiny desserts. My favourite being some sort of pumpkin and cream cheese roll. I've got to try this. Thanks!!
