Butternut Squash, Caramelized Onion, and Gorgonzola Pizza
This is the first time I've ever made pizza from scratch. I know it's hard to believe with the amount of cooking I do but I was always afraid of the pizza dough. I've heard it can be quiet temperamental.
So, it was a bit of a long process to make but it turned out very well and wasn't that difficult. I will say that pizza dough is very different than pie dough which I am very familiar with. When your stretching out your pizza dough if you tear a hole in it you can't just fold it onto itself and fix your blunder. If you make a hole, it's there for good! Luckily this recipe made enough for 3 pizzas so I just threw the one out that I ruined and still had plenty for 2 medium sized pizzas.
I think I will try this dough recipe again but with different toppings. I did L*O*V*E this combo though of caramelized onion and Gorgonzola.
