Pecan Pie Tarts

For Christmas I made pecan pie tarts. I wanted to make pecan pie because it's one of my husbands favorites and you know me and my silly little obsession with mini pies. I just thought they would be so much cuter and have a little more personality than a boring old pecan pie. So I used the little foil shells that you would use to bake pot pies in and they came out so cute.
I used {THIS} pie crust recipe that I love but I tripled it for 6 mini pies and I used {THIS} pecan pie recipe but I doubled it for 6 mini pies. I topped them with a homemade cinnamon, sugar whip cream.
I think they turned out great and they were oh so cute......

Thanks for the follow! Those look so good. My mom makes pecan tassies, which are an even smaller version (she uses a mini-muffin tin to make them) and this reminds me so much of them. I bet they taste amazing!
