strawberry rhubarb pie

 

I thought it might be my last chance to pick up this gorgeous farm grown rhubarb and make a pie. So Sunday was all about relaxing and baking this beauty!! I tried a braided lattice top this time just for extra fun. It's looks lovely but I must say I think I like the coverage of a regular lattice top better. 
I ALWAYS use this pie crust recipe. It turns out so flaky and wonderful every time. And I used this pie filling recipe. I always try to choose the simplest recipe I can find. I don't like a lot of extra unnecessary stuff in my food. It turned out delicious!!

saturday's farmers market

            Saturday is usually my favorite day of the week but unfortunately little M and I have had to go to farmer's market by ourselves the last 2 weeks because my poor hubby has been working so hard. But, I still love the market. I wish I could be surrounded by at that gorgeous food all the time. 
This week we snapped up some rhubarb for a  strawberry rhubarb pie of course and some cauliflower. I'm going to make a pasta dish with cauliflower, golden raisins, pine nuts and pancetta. Photos and recipes for everything coming soon.

It's the P*E*R*F*E*C*T size!!! I was able to take absolutely everything I would have needed for a long afternoon without having to lug a huge diaper bag. It was amazing!! 

And it's so versatile. It's still the perfect bag even if you don't have any diapers to tote. For all you ladies with no kids or kids that are grown, this an amazing handbag to accompany any outfit. The perfect size for all your essentials.  I really couldn't be any happier with this bag. It makes the P*E*R*F*E*C*T gift for a baby shower or for a new mom. Every mom deserves to have this bag!!!   Have I mentioned I'm in L*O*V*E?

I always like to show one photo of the packaging. For me it's important. It's the first impression and this couldn't be any cuter. I would love to give this as a gift to a new mom.
