Baby’s Size: 3 1/2  pounds

Bellybutton: Still in

Stretchmarks: No new ones but the old ones are more visible now

Maternity Clothes: Absolutley! I'm freakin' HUGE!!

Gender: sweet baby GIRL!

Movement: YES!!! Lots and lots of kicking. She kicks much harder than Milton did!

Sleep: Still Pretty good! I still get 2 hours stretches without having to pee

Symptoms: Short of breath, dizzy, tired, back ache, serious mood swings. My poor, poor husband

Food Aversions: Not really

Food Cravings: Cookies and Milk

Best Moments this week: Little Milton started walking!!!!! Hurray!! We are so proud!

What I miss: MY SKINNY JEANS AND HIGH HEELS!! Still true from last week!

What I am Looking forward to:  Decorating the nursery

Milestones: Only 9 weeks to go. We're in the single digit weeks now folks!!

Homemade Chicken Pot Pies

I have been wanting to make homemade chicken pot pies for a long time so I finally decided to try it and I am so glad I did. They turned out A*M*A*Z*I*N*G. My husband said the best pot pie he's ever had. 

So I used this pie crust recipe. I doubled it and was perfect for 6 mini pot pies. I always use this recipe it is wonderful every time. It has never let me down. Now I store my shortening in the freezer. It works great!

I used this pot pie recipe but I made a few modifications. I added one package of mushrooms and 4 peeled chopped potatoes. I also substituted cream for milk and I added a pat of butter to each pie before I put on the top crust. I must admit I did cheat a little tiny bit. I used a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store instead of cooking my own. The meat from one whole chicken was the perfect amount. I like to pick the chicken instead of cube it. I really think there's nothing worse than a cold, sterile piece of cubed chicken. It's so much nicer when it's a nice soft morsel. This recipe made 6 mini pot pies and was perfect! I'm so glad I finally decided to make this. It will definitely be a favorite in this house from now on. Happy Cooking Lovelies!!

Layla Grace twitter party

I absoluetly love the store Layla Grace. They have a HUGE inventory and literally every single thing is gorgeous! I want all of it!!! So, I got really brave the other day and sent them an inquiry about doing a review/giveaway. I have seen their review/giveaways before and they giveaway things like $400 dollar designer handbags!!! Mmmm Hmmmmm.....Now you can see why I am so interested!!! 
Honestly I didn't even think I would get a response. I mean who am I? Some random mommy blogger with not a very big following BUT I was so pleasantly surprised when not only did they respond but in a very timely manner and they were quiet nice. Yes, yes I do happen to be almost 8 months pregnant but this is truly one of the most S*C*R*U*M*P*T*I*O*U*S things I have had the pleasure of tasting. I am a lover of all things salty and sweet. This is the ULTIMATE combo. The bacon is smokey and salty and the chocolate is creamy and sweet. Ohhhhhhh a match made in HEAVEN.

I think my favorite out of all 9 varieties that I was sent is the Dark Chocolate Candied Chipotle Bacon. I love spicy foods and I especially love spicy and sweet together so I just about died when I had this bacon. However they were all SINFULLY delicious. This is one happy pregnant lady:)

Beautiful

This is a video of an 8 month old baby who was born deaf hear his mother's voice for the first time. It's beautiful! I love it and it made me cry of course. If you have an extra moment it is worth a look see.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Pie with Pecan Streusel Topping

I was in the mood to whip up another pie and I am partial to fruit pies but I thought I should try something a little more festive so I went with Pumpkin cream cheese pie. And boy am I glad I did!!! It's DIVINE!!! I love that it's layered so it's almost like you get a pumpkin pie and a cheese cake in one and the pecan streusel topping is just to die for. I have lots of cookbooks and often use the internet for recipes too but this one came from my Better Holmes and Garden's Baking Book and now I can't find the exact recipe anywhere on the internet which is weird. Anyway, I compared lots of them and this recipe is almost identical. 
This would be a GREAT addition for Thanksgiving this year!!!
