I have started a little interview process called "Brutal Truth is a Beautiful Thing."
I'm doing this because I love to get to know the "real" people behind their blogs. I think so many of us are afraid to tell the truth whatever it may be. We want others to like us. We want others to read our blog. We don't want to scare anyone away.
Me included!!

Me included!!
I tend to put myself down too much and always feel like I could do better, look better or be more successful. I find myself comparing what I look like and what I have to others when I should be so thankful and grateful for what I DO have.
What's your greatest strength?
I’m very strong-willed and determined in life so when I put my mind to something, I’m
extremely motivated to succeed or finish what it is I have started. I’m also a huge
perfectionist
(which can be a good thing or a bad thing) but I always make sure no matter what it is I do,
that I do it to the best of my ability…but usually my best is never good enough for me lol
(please refer back to my response above)
What has emotionally crippled you in your lifetime?
Losing people in my life that were like family to me to circumstances that became out of my
control. But everything happens for a reason and I’m in a better place in my life because of it.
control. But everything happens for a reason and I’m in a better place in my life because of it.
What has elated you with joy in your lifetime?
Meeting my future hubby Chris and all the amazing friends and family that came along with
him. I love him more every single day and he inspires me to follow my dreams.
him. I love him more every single day and he inspires me to follow my dreams.
How much have you evolved since your teenage years? Are you a similar person?
I’m not the same person at all and that’s a great thing. I grew up extremely shy and lacked all
the confidence in the world whereas now, I may still be a work-in-progress in the confidence
department, but I refuse to let others take advantage of me and can speak my mind freely
without worry of judgment. I think there is a tiny part of us that remains the same as we grow
older, but it’s never a bad thing to evolve into a stronger person.

What's something you don't want to tell us about?
I guess that would be my trust issues. I have been hurt in the past by people I trusted more
than anything in this world and now it’s extremely difficult for me to build close relationships
with those around me. I’m close with some amazing people, but when it comes to me sharing
things in confidence that people would normally share with their friends, I become closed off
and keep things to myself.

When the world is crashing down on you, where do you go?
I pray and ask God for help and guidance.
Do you have any goals? What are they?
Oh I have so many goals that I want to achieve in my lifetime. I want to get my Master’s one
day, I want to fit into my skinny jeans and I would love to successfully run a marathon one
day. Like I said, I could name off hundreds of goals, but the number one goal I have in my life
is to become a mother and have a healthy, happy family :)

Can you honestly say you love what you do?
YES! And not just in regards to my work, I absolutely love my life. I’m blessed with an
amazing job, I absolutely found my passion in cooking and photography and would love to
one day be able to do both successfully full-time.

Who has been the single most influential person in your lifetime thus far?
My Grandma. She was who inspired me to cook, who taught me what true love really is and
who is someone that I continually strive to be like one day.
who is someone that I continually strive to be like one day.
Honestly, we are all striving for something, what is your greatest goal in life? I'm not talking about money!
Honestly my greatest goal in life is to be happy in whatever it is I do.
Are there people in your past that you wish you could make amends with?
Not at all. The people in my life are there for a reason and the people that aren’t are too. I
couldn’t ask for better people to surround myself with and would never change that.

What memory will be forever burned in your mind to the point where you can smell the room and feel the energy?
The day my Grandpa died. I remember everything about that day even down to the clothes I
was wearing and the little things that happened that morning to make myself late for work
.
Worst day of my life.

What movie and/or book speaks to you?
I’m a book junkie so I absolutely LOVE to read. One book that really resonated with me and
had me in tears was The Diary of Anne Frank. She remained so strong and positive despite
all the odds that were against her and it just goes to show you the importance of humanity in
this world.

What is your greatest wish right here and now?
I truly wish I could make time to cook and work on my photography full-time. Right now that is
definitely not an option, but hopefully one day!
