*snippity snip snip*

Just a few snipits of my life this week!

It seems "beachy" waves is all the rage these days!!! I've done them a  few times with my chi hair straighter but honestly the way they come out perfectly and STAY in place for me is if I shower or dampen my hair, ad a little gel (I use Aveda Confixor) and then I part my hair straight down the middle and do pig tail french braids. Then I just sleep in it and the next day you have PERFECT beach waves that LAST until the next time you wash!

My stomach has started to really get in the way lately. Whenever I'm cooking, it's constantly getting smashed into random ingredients.

This week I have been a C*R*A*F*T*O*H*L*I*C FOR SURE!!!!! Every day I have spent at least 30 min to an hour crafting for Ginger's Party! I find Zen in crafting!!! It calms me; makes me forget my problems momentarily! I really so need to get that sewing machine out start sewing some aprons. it might just be the therapy I need!

Anyway, here's the tiny garland cake topper for GG's party!

The cat has a love, hate relationship with the children.

Ginger takes a liking to him in particular.
Here she is reading to him. She also shares her favorite pillow with him and tells him how much she loves him. It's pretty cute!

We like to always mash our potatoes first and then use a potato ricer to finish them. It  makes any mashed potato's soft and silky and sooooooo beautiful.

But, I just love that my husband will even do it when he's only cooking them for the kids; so thoughtful!
And if you've never tried one, you should!

These are just a few of the props I make for the photo booth fun that I can hopefully get my tiny family members to partake in.

The frog is my favorite.

One of my husband's 5 part time jobs is baking a local co-op and he is always bringing home interesting health food that is really fun to try.

Ginger's party is Saturday.
I am not doing hardly anything in the department of wall decorations or tiny party favors or anything like that but I did make a huge 6 foot castle and an enchanted garden for the little princess. She already loves it. She tries to eat and sleep in there everyday.

I have a really great blogger to introduce you to tomorrow! She's going to share "Her Story" I adore her!!!

See you then!!!

Have a blessed evening!

So cute!! I love beachy waves!!! One of the things I miss most about my long hair. Wonder if now that it's growing out I could try braids to get waves again.

What a beautiful blog! I aspire to have a space as creative and beauty-filled as yours. I'm inspired by your weight-loss post pregnancies. I'm on my own smaller journey of sorts right now. Thanks for sharing (and following my blog)!

You have to go see Christina's (The Olive Tree) bd cake for her daughter! It had that same little topper on it. So cute.
And I love the waves. So doing that tonight.
